Our Mission:

Helping
Local People
in Crisis

Following the amazing work we did to offer shelter, food and support to almost 160 resident clients during the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to run the main food bank in Halifax each week and we welcome everyone back through our doors to our Banqueting Table (a free lunch served three times a week) and Second Chances (our drop in support).

Who we are

Christians Together Calderdale work in central Halifax. We are here to help vulnerable local people who are in crisis with their housing, benefits, recovery, healthcare, finances, food poverty or anything else which they might need our assistance with.

What we do

Our food bank currently supports around 150 people each week. Our Winter Shelter offers a place of safety with a warm bed for the night if you have no place to stay between December and March. An evening meal, breakfast and support are also provided.
